Dress(ed) Down

If you're like me you probably have an assortment of LBD's for every occasion. You have a casual one for running errands, a form fitting little number for going out, a work/interview appropriate one and one used for dinner dates. If you're not like me and have only one you use for all of those you are the master! Seriously teach me your ways! So when I was perusing, one of my favorite online shops I found the perfect LBD that can be dressed up and down!

This dress is a shift style (my favorite style of dresses) and is super flattering. It's flowy (perfect to hide the chips and queso food baby) but still gives some shape, especially with the denim jacket. It also has adjustable straps which I LOVE because you can adjust how long or short it is. This is especially hand for all the tall/short girls where dresses are either too short or too long. Thank you whoever invented adjustable straps!
It also is a really nice quality and the material is pretty thick so you don't have to worry about it being too sheer or showing lines.

One of my faaaaavorite ways to "dress down" a dress is to thrown on a baseball cap, tie a denim jacket around my waist and add some sneakers. It can take any outfit that might be on the dressier side and make it casual for everyday wear.

Adding some simple jewelry (this Kendra Scott bracelet I wear everyday, no joke even with leggings and a t-shirt) and a crossbody bag makes this outfit perfect for running errands, going to lunch with your girl's or even a baseball game!

It's cute, comfortable and perfect for the spring/summer! Other ways you could keep it casual would be throw on a utility vest/jacket instead of the denim, switch out the Converse for a casual pair of sandals and swap the ball cap for a floppy hat!

You could easily dress this up by throwing on a pair of heels or wedges, adding some fun statement jewelry and amping up your makeup.

I've been shopping at Tobi for years now and L-O-V-E their site. They have the cutest pieces for a really affordable price. It's really nice quality and looks way more expensive than it is. They have classic pieces like LBDs and then more fun, trendy pieces that are in season.

My favorite items to get from them are their rompers/jumpsuits, dresses (shifts are my fave but I also love their sequin (perfect for a birthday or Vegas), casual dresses like t-shirt or button up ones) and tops (my favorite place to get tops because they're incredibly cute and affordable). They seriously have so many cute items that are perfect for going out, special occasions or just running errands out and about. They even have an entire section of just LBDs... this is like the Mecca of little black dresses. There's casual, fancy, simple, sophisticated: so many styles to choose from!
