Probably the highlight and most exciting thing I did all month was visit Nashville for the first time to see one of my best friends who goes to college down there. It was so much fun! I had the best time and actually have a lengthy post all about it, complete with tons of photos and what I got up to!
One Direction released their 5th album sans Zayn this month and HOLY CRAP IT'S SO GOOD. It might me my second favorite (Take Me Home is number 1). It's just so them. You can really hear all their vocals really strong in each song and they all just work so well together. My favorites are Olivia, I Want to Write You a Song and Temporary Fix. Have you listened? What are yours?
I have a Beauty Blender and love it for concealing under my eyes. A few beauty gurus I watch on Youtube swear by the Real Techniques sponge so I decided to give it a go. GUYS... it's a game changer! I love it a million times more than my BB! And it's like half the cost and does infinitely better. I'm a convert.
We haven't had snow yet here in Kansas, thank the Lord, but it has been cold and rainy (booooo). I first saw this coat on Instagram and hurried to check it out but it was all sold out. So I got onto the waitlist. Eventually it was back in stock and you bet I bought it! I got it just the other day and it's the bees knees. It's suuuper nice quality, thick, luxe and warm. I feel so Olivia Pope and wrap coats are in so I'm stylish too. Pick one up you won't be sorry... or cold!
I'm a closet fan of the Biebs. He's got some good jams (Christmas album on repeat). While his new album doesn't blow me away I am a fan of Sorry. It's got a good beat and I've been playing it nonstop. If it comes on the radio while I'm in the car you bet I'll be belting it out. #NoShame
I've been wearing this combo like it's going out of style.... and well the puffer vest did.... I originally got it from Francesca's as a dupe to the J.Crew one and it's sold out of both. :( If it comes back I will update this post! I've worn this outfit like at least 3 times a week, again #NoShame. It's comfy, easy and pretty warm, at least up until the last week of November when it decided to rain for a week straight. Not cool.
Earlier this month I was invited to Nebraska Furniture Mart, a giant furniture, appliance and electronic superstore for a fun holiday preview with other KC bloggers. We were shown the holiday trends which I will be sharing on Friday with you guys! We drank wine, ate chocolate, mingled and at the end had a surprise in store. It was a white elephant gifting! We all drew numbers and got to choose any gift from the boxes that were impeccably wrapped. I went for a largish one and it turned out to be a Keurig! I've always wanted one and since my coffee pot left me (it went with my mom in California) I was using a dinky old one. Needless to say I upgraded and I don't know what I did without one! So far my favorite K-Cup is the Eight O'Clock 'French Vanilla'. If you have any you love leave me a comment sharing! I'm all about trying new ones out! :) And a huge thanks to NFM for the wonderful early Christmas gift!
So there you have what I remembered that I loved for the month of November! Overall a pretty good month. The big thing was my weekend in Nashville. I will have quite a bit of traveling coming up in December and into the new year and I'm super excited!
What have you loved for November? Can you believe 2016 is almost here? Leave me a comment sharing!
