Olive and White

I'm one of those people who follow fashion rules loosely. There are rules that I will never break like wearing navy and black together but for the most part if I like it, I wear it. That being said Labor Day is over and traditionally you don't wear white after it. I think that rule is dumb and will continue to wear white jeans/shorts until it gets infinitely colder. #RebelStatus

Today I paired my white shorts with this gorgeous olive colored top that I got from Etiquette Boutique, a local boutique here in KC. Olive is definitely one of the 'it' colors this season and I'm loving it!

I decided to accent the outfit with cognac details like my shoes and belt. This outfit is still polished without being too dressy and you still feel like you can move around and whatnot.

What do you think of wearing white after Labor Day? Love the the olive color trend? Hate it?  Leave a comment sharing your thoughts!
