Black Tank and Boyfriend Shorts

After seeing a couple of my favorite bloggers (Katey and Caitlin I'm talking about you) wearing slight v-neck spaghetti strap tanks, I decided I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. So I filed finding one into my brain. The other day I was at TJ Maxx and found this black one. Remembering I wanted to try one on, I did. I loved it! from the fit, not super deep but just enough to leave a little to the imagination ;),  to the simpleness of it, length, everything. I now know what all the fuss is about!

I love that it can be dressed up or dressed down. It can be worn with boyfriend shorts and sandals (like here), or white jeans and heels for a night out.

Sunglasses: Old Navy (similar here// Necklace: Walmart (in store)// Tank: TJ Maxx (similar here and here)// Tassel bracelet: BaubleBar// Chain bracelet: Kirkland's (similar here)// Crystal cuff: Versona Boutique (identical here)// Shorts: Target (similar here and here)// Sandals: Ross (similar here)// Bag: Old Navy//

I am obsessed with this necklace. It goes with everything and is the perfect statement necklace. Oh and did I mention I got it at Wal-Mart for $5?! Right, you're thinking "No way did you get that at Wal-Mart". I did in fact! I know I was just as surprised as you!  I love that it was gold and white, that it was simple but a statement piece, it was nice quality and that it was super affordable. Actually Wal-Mart was a lot of pretty nice statement necklaces out. There's a few more I wouldn't mind picking up and for $5-$10 you can't beat them. So that's my story.. why I told you I have no clue.... Hahaha!

Back to the outfit, like I said above, this tank is going to be a staple piece for sure. And the versatility of it is a winner. Everything about it is a winner really!

Fall Haul

I am suuuuper excited for today's post because it's something totally new and exciting that I'm doing! I'm a little nervous because it is something that I'm totally out of my depth in but I think that once I practice will really love. Any guesses?

If you guessed videos than you win a million dollars!

Just kidding but I wish I could give you a million dollars. Will an Internet hug do? XX

Starting today I'm going to be doing video content for you guys. This is something that I've always wanted to do but never had the recording capability to do it. That was until my brother got a new camera that can record. So huge thanks to Alex for letting me borrow his equipment! :)

I want to start filming videos so leave me a comment on what type of videos you wanna see. I'm open to pretty much anything (within reason) and will do my best to get it done for you guys.

Today's video is a fall haul!

I've been on the fall shopping spree lately and have accumulated quite a few fall items. I thought it'd be fun to share what I've bought and some fall fashion inspiration!

Please excuse my awkwardness. It really shows on camera :/  But it's something I'm working on! Haha! I'll hopefully (fingers crossed) get less awkward and better as I record more. These first few beginning videos are gonna be rough, but I promise they will get better, so just stick with me! :)

Here are all the piece that I show in the video. I did my best to try and link the exact item or really similar.

What I'm wearing in the video: Old Navy

Moto jacket (similar here and here)
Black shirtdress (similar here)
Blush cardigan (similar here)
Trapeze top (similar here)

What was your favorite piece? Least favorite? What are you adding to your closet? Like this new idea of videos? Leave me a comment sharing your thoughts!

I can't wait to start doing more videos so make sure you subscribe to my channel and the blog so you are updated when a new video or post goes live!

Denim on Denim

There's just something about the denim on denim look that's just classic. Paired with nude pumps and a clutch and you've got a killer outfit. Or at least I think so. Haha!

It was exceptionally cool the day I shot this look and I LOVED it! It felt like fall and it made me so happy. Chambray is one of my fall staples. It can be worn on its own or layered under a sweater or vest. It can be worn a million different ways. It's so versatile!

Sunglasses: TJ Maxx (similar here)// Necklace: Forever21// Top: Old Navy (similar here and here)// Jeans: American Eagle// Clutch: Forever21// Heels: Jessica Simpson (same style, darker color)//

|Thanks to Alex for the photos|

Are we surprised I'm wearing these nude pumps? I think they are my absolute favorite pair of heels I own. They're so classic and feminine and sophisticated. My dream is to have a pair of Jimmy's, Manolo's or Louboutin's in a nude, pointed toe.

And this clutch might be one of my best handbag purchases ever. It looks super luxe and designer but it's from Forever21 and under $20. SCORE! It's the perfect clutch to take to dinner or an evening out. It will be used a lot in these upcoming months that's for sure!

What do you think of the denim on denim look? How do you wear it? Leave me a comment sharing!

Summer 2015

I can't believe summer is coming to and end.... Anyone else feel like summer flew by?! I mean it's not just me.... right? Anyways, today I'm sharing/recapping my summer with you all. If you follow me on Instagram (@samantha_goble) or Snapchat (@samanthagoble) then you've seen most of these pictures, but if you don't A) you definitely should because I post lots of great stuff and B) I hope you enjoy!

If you didn't know I had a summer internship with Kat of Kathryn Elise Studio (you can read all about that here). It was such a great experience and I learned a lot about PR, social media and events. I never realized how much work went into things like email campaigns! And if you also didn't hear she offered me a position as her assistant for the fall! I couldn't be more happy to have accepted and continue working with such an amazing lady!

I love music and going to concerts and festivals and this summer I attended two! The first was Chipotle Cultivate, a day filled with food, music, friends and ideas. I saw Max Frost which was amazing and Smallpools again, who were freaking fantastic, as per usual. It was a super fun and long day but made for a great memory!
I also saw my beloved One Direction again and this time I was about 10 feet away from them. Yeah, needless to say I couldn't talk or hear after it. It was a night I will never forget. And also the best show on the tour so far. #OTRAKC

This summer was filled with fun activities! I don't think I've ever been so busy with going out to do things! Activities included going to the pool (a summer must), trying loads of new restaurants like The Melting Pot (SO GOOD), going to my first ever Royals game (#RoyalsNation), eating lots of ice cream/gelato/custard (another summer must) and going to blogger events (blogger friends are the best).

When I wasn't working I was trying to see and hang out with as many of my friends as possible, before they went back to college. I think I accomplished the job and made tons of memories with some amazing people. One person in particular was my best friend Riley. We bonded this summer and I'm so glad to have a friend like her! She's moving to Tennessee to attend Vanderbilt University this fall so I'm sad to see her go :( But you can bet that I'll be visiting her a ton!

My two best friends from high school! We all showed up wearing aviator sunglasses! #GreatMindsThinkAlike

So that was my summer! Pretty standard as far as summers go but it was one of the bests. Every summer keeps getting better and better and outdoes the last. I can't wait for summer of 2016 and what memories I make next year!

You can read all about last summer here and see what I got up to!

What did you do this summer? Anything special or fun? Leave me a comment sharing!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another Weekend Reading! The weeks are flying by and can you believe that August is almost over?! Wasn't it January like last week? Anyways, my weeks are starting to get crazy busy and come September I'm going to be running around like a chicken with  my head cut off, but I'm super excited so it'll be a fun (and stressful) time.

Last week I had the privilege of  attending a launch party at the new Kendra Scott store at the Country Club Plaza here in Kansas City. I was A) so excited that we finally have a Kendra Scott store, B) thrilled to be seeing the inside of one and C) happy to be supporting all my KC blogger friends! The launch party was for the re-branding of the KC Blogger Meetup, now The Blog Guild. TBG is a place for bloggers to create, connect and collaborate. Even though I'm still relatively new to the whole blogging world, Kansas City is the best place when it comes to the blogger community. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming and makes you feel like you've been doing it for ages. I love being a part of such a fabulous community and through it have made some wonderful friends!

TBG launch party was at the new Kendra Scott store and it couldn't have been a better place to host it! I mean what's better than baubles and bubbly? Nothing.. well except maybe chips and guac... but coming in second is baubles and bubbly.

The macaroons were ah-mazign and the cupcakes? They were champagne flavored. I pretty much died and went to heaven.

How gorgeous is this space?! It's stunning! And the perfect place to host a bunch of bloggers because everything is Instagram worthy. And did you know that every store Kendra herself designs? Yep, everything from the furniture, decor, art, etc., doesn't make it past until it's approved by the lady herself!

The night was mingling, chatting, eating delicious goodies and sipping on yummy drinks, perusing the gorgeous jewels and celebrating the launch of TBG. It was such a great night and so much fun. I got to see some great blogger friends and catch up with them and make some new ones! Oh and I even won a prize! One of the Raine necklaces. I had to get it in gold and hot pink, because gold and hot pink *insert hair flipping emoji here* So now I'm officially a part of the Kendra Scott x bloggers club! Haha!

It was a great evening and I couldn't be happier for TBG on their new launch! I can't wait to see what new things they have in store!

If you're a blogger, creative or entrepreneur and you're looking to create, connect and collaborate with some fabulous ladies then you definitely need to check out The Blog Guild! I promise you won't regret it! :)

Are you part of a blogger network? Love Kendra Scott? What's your favorite piece? Leave me a comment sharing!
