Current Makeup Favorites

Hey beauties! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather! Today on the blog I'm bringing you my current makeup favorites! Recently I've been attending events where I get to glam up my makeup. I'm not normally a heavy makeup wearer for everyday but whenever I have special events I love to add a heavier touch with my look.

These are all the products I've been using and that you've seen me wearing in my Instagrams. And if you haven't seen those photos and want to be in the loop you can follow me on Insta, @samantha_goble!

Everything except for the Benefit Roller Lash mascara and the Urban Decay Primer Potion can be found a Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. It's all super affordable and just great products! So onto what I've been wearing on my face!

NYC bronzer in Sunny
NYX powder blush in Peach
Mary Kay concealer in Beige
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind under eye concealer in Neutral
Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Translucent
Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser
Rimmel Stay Matte foundation in Soft Beige

 Benefit Roller Lash mascara
 Essence liquid eyeliner pen
 Maybelline Nudes palette
Maybelline Falsies mascara
NYX jumbo eye pencil in Black Bean
Rimmel Exaggerate eyeliner
Urban Decay Primer Potion

 e.l.f. lip exfoliator

Here's a little breakdown of my makeup routine!

Starting with a washed and moisturized face, I then apply the Pore Eraser to the areas where I have visible pores. Next apply the under eye concealer on my dark circles and blend. Then I apply my matte foundation and blend it in with my fingers. After I apply the translucent powder all over my face. I finish with the blush on the apples of my cheeks and use the bronzer to contour my cheekbones.

For eyes it depends on the look I'm going for. I'll either do a really clean, simple look or a smudgy smokey eye. For the most part I do the clean, simple look.

First I apply the Primer Potion all over my lids and my lower lash line. Then I apply a light taupe shade all over my lids. I then apply a darker contour shadow for my outer corner. Next tightline my eyes with the pencil eyeliner. After I use the liquid liner to line my upper lash line. I finish up with a couple of coats of my Roller Lash and Falsie's masara and add a browbone and inner corner highlight.

I didn't include any lipsticks because it changes depending on the look I'm going for, my outfit and my mood. I do use the lip exfoliator before I apply lipstick and put a heavy duty lip balm on my lips. I also apply a tiny bit of concealer to the cupid's bow to really emphasize my lips.

So those are all the products that get my face from looking like a zombie to a relative decent looking human being! Like I said they're all really affordable and some even have coupons you can find in the paper. I've really been loving the combination of products and my overall makeup look. You can tell it's "special occasion" makeup but it's still natural. Everything has great color and staying power. I know when I apply everything it will still be on my face after dancing it out at a concert or sitting front row!

What are your current makeup favorites/ products you use for "special occasion" makeup? Let me know in the comments below or by striking up a convo with me via social media, @samantha_goble!
