China Blue

How is it Easter is this Sunday?! It was Christmas like two days ago and now it's Easter?! Time is flying by waaaay too fast. Anyways, today I'm sharing with you an adorably cute Easter outfit! When I was little my whole family (on my dad's side) would get all dressed up and go to church with my grandparents. Then we'd go back to my grandparent's house for Easter lunch and the easter egg hunt, my personal favorite. My mom use to dress me up in frilly, pink dresses complete with a hat, frilly white socks and shoes. I absolutely hated it. Now that we're older we don't get dressed up anymore and I'm terribly sad about it. But that didn't stop me from creating an Easter outfit that I totally would wear if I was going to Easter church/brunch/lunch! ;)

Sorry for the overload of pictures.... clearly I couldn't pick a few.....

I am absolutely smitten with this dress!!! It's from LightInTheBox, a Chinese clothing website. Maybe you've heard of it? I was super skeptical at first thinking it'd be a cheaply made and cheap fabric dress. I WAS SO WRONG! This is one of the nicer quality dresses I bought! And it was under $20!! It feels like a much more expensive dress than was it is. I will say the sizing runs super small so definitely size up. I'm a size 2/small in dresses and I ordered it in a medium. The medium fits snug but nothing uncomfortable. Definitely look at the size charts before you buy!

I love the white organza and the cobalt blue floral pattern. It reminds me of a china plate. I wanted the dress to be focal point so I paired a couple of simple bangles, pointed nude pumps and a light pinkish nude lip. Oh and my very Marilyn Monroe-esque sunglasses. I'm obsessed with these. I think this is the perfect Easter/spring/summer wedding dress and for the price point it's a necessity.

It's all fun to wear pretty dresses and eat yummy food and hunt for Easter eggs but let's not forget the true reason for Easter. "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son..."
