Shoes OMG Shoes

Guys I've been buying shoes left and right. I think I have a shoe problem.....  So I decided to share what shoes I've bought recently and ones that I would love to get so that you guys can buy them and we all can be shoe addicts together! These are all suuuuper affordable, thus why I've bought a whole bunch. A lot of them are eerily similar to the ever so popular designer ones you've maybe seen on your favorite bloggers |read: the Betsey Johnson bow heels and the Valentino Rockstud heels|. Enough of me and let's get to where you can buy these beauties!

No. 1// No. 2// No. 3 (also in red)// No. 4// No. 5// No. 6 (also in black)// No. 7// No. 8// No. 9// No. 10 (also in black, pink and yellow)// No. 11// No. 12// No. 13// No. 14//

HOW CUTE ARE THEY?! I have No. 3 in black and I ordered No. 6, 8, 9 and 10... Seriously I have a problem.... I need to check into Shoeholic's Anon. Unfortunately No. 13 is all sold out except in size 5 :( I didn't know that until I went to check the link. The rest though should have most sizes. And yes I do know No. 1 and 12 are basically the same wedge... #FailSam I really, really, really love the fringed heels and the scalloped wedges.... All of these shoes would be perfect spring and summer shoes! And if you've been looking for the bow or rockstud heels definitely scoop them up while you can!

So those are all the shoes I've currently coveting. Well most I've already bought but you know minor details. Lol.

Also a shoe tip, GoJane's shoes run big, or at least for me they do. I normally wear a 6 in most shoes but with theirs I size down to a 5.5 and they fit just right.

What shoes have you been lusting over? Leave me a comment or send me a link down below! I always need more shoes! ;)

Talk Derby To Me

What is the quintessential preppy event of the year? The Kentucky Derby of course. Classy guys wearing ties and classy girls wearing pearls celebrate this momentous occasion by dressing to the nine's. I drool over the pictures of Derby goers on Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr. I've never been to the Kentucky Derby or Kentucky for that matter, but that didn't stop me from channeling my inner prepster and creating a derby look!

Hat: Windsor// Sunglasses: Marshall's// Dress: Shabby Apple c/o (also comes in a gorgeous cobalt and stunning green// Bracelets: Versona Boutique// Bag: Kate Spade// Heels: Charlotte Russe//

|Thanks to Alex for taking my photos!|

The Kentucky Derby is all about going all out. And what screams all out than a hot pink dress and floral heels? This is such a classy and fun outfit! I would love to take this baby out for a spin on the green sipping a mint julep. Oh one of these days ;)

Also I'm in looove with these heels! They A) match the dress perfectly and B) are such a pretty heel! I can't wait to wear them with other dresses or a pair of white jeans and a cute top!

Thank you to Shabby Apple for sending me this beauty to wear, I absolutely love it!

What are you/would you wear to the Kentucky Derby? Are you going or going to be watching? Leave me a comment below!

What I Learned from GBS 2015

Hello lovelies! How are you all doing? Today I thought it'd be fun to share with you what I learned from the GBS2015 Conference! Over the course of the 2 days there were 9 amazing ladies (and guy!) who are bloggers or business owners who are killing it and making a name for themselves! They gave some on point advice about blogging and running a business so I'm going to share it with you guys!

Alissa Circle of Diary of an Addict and the founder of Pollinate Media Group talked about branding and how be your best blog/business self. My favorite quotes was "Take fear by the balls and make your dreams happen!" How many of us don't go for something because of our fear? I know I certainly do! It's time to put fear in it's place and go for whatever it that you want. Maybe it's a promotion at work, starting your own business or collaborating with a brand you love. "Our own fears hold us back from what we are designed to do!"

Next I learned from Kelly and Andra of With Grace and Gold that "Followers ain't nothin but a number!" As a blogger we get caught up in the digits that come along with blogging. How many page views we have, how many followers, how many likes we get on Insta. I know personally, I let those little numbers rule. If I post a picture and it doesn't get a like within the minute I freak out. Kelly and Andra spoke about focusing on loyalty, profitability, engagement, enthusiasm, steady growth, hardwork, the journey and having fun, instead of the number of followers or pageviews you have. You are not your number!

Mandy of Sugar Bee Crafts talked about building a blogging community. My favorite thing I learned was that "As you know who you are you find like minded people." By figuring who you are as a blogger and a person will help you find other people who are the same. This is your blog tribe. Your blog tribe is the small group of people who you go to for advice and such about all things bloggery. I'm slowly but surely building my blog tribe and I can't wait to find that core group of people!

Finally, Enza of Enza's Bargains spoke about brand campaigning. What I took away from her was to "Under promise and over deliver." When working with brands and companies always go above and beyond what they ask. This will make them look good and also show that you put forth a lot of effort into it. Never do just okay, always do extraordinary.

All of the speakers talked about telling your story and how each one of us have one to tell. I loved that they all touched on topics that I learned from the GBS Workshop. More specifically what Jenny Singh of Touch of Ambition talked about. "You are a creator, a dreamer and a storyteller." That we all have a voice and a story to tell.

I hope you can take something away from this post whether you blog or not. I learned so much that it's hard to just pick a few things, but these are all quotes that really stuck out to me.

Do you have any nuggets of wisdom? Something that's really stuck with you? If so offer it up below or strike up a convo with me via social media, @samantha_goble!

Oh Shift!

Happy Monday everyone! It's been just over a week since the big #LillyForTarget launch and the craziness has died down. Today I'm going to be sharing what all I was lucky enough to purchase from the Lilly For Target collab that debuted Sunday. If you aren't familiar with Lilly Pulitzer it's pretty much the preppy holy grail. She and Target teamed up a for a collab collection which launched on Sunday. It was so hyped up and it sold out online and in stores within minutes. I was lucky and snagged quite a few pieces that I wanted. And thankfully praise Jesus hallelujah I was able to get one of the Nosie Posie shifts off of eBay for a reasonable amount. This was the one time I am thankful I live in Kansas and there's a very small population who even know who Lilly is. I really wanted the coffee cup set but didn't get one :( If you know of anyone who is selling them please, please, please email me! I'm dying to get my hands on one! I am in no way, shape or form trying to brag about what I got. I simply want to share my thoughts on the pieces!

'Upstream' Shift//

First up is this shift in the pattern Upstream. I was a little hesitant with the fish pattern, but it soon grew on me. I love the blue and white combo and it will be such a gorgeous spring/summer dress! I can't wait to wear this baby out!

Cropped Eyelet Tank//

While chaos ensued in the women's department I headed over to the girl's to see what gems I could find. Plus I knew not very many women can fit into girl's so it wouldn't go quite as fast. I spotted this eyelet cropped tank and snatched it up! It hits perfectly and isn't too short. I can't wait to wear this with a pair of Chinos and my Jacks! It will be a summer staple piece for sure!

Beach Blanket, Juicer and Bowl//

When I got back to the housewares they hadn't even displayed them yet. Everything was sitting on pallets. I saw the bowl and juicer and knew they needed to come home with me. I'm planning on showing off this beauty on Mother's Day and making a yummy dessert dip!

'Nosie Posie' Maxi Dress//

This is another girl's item and I am soooo thankful I can still fit into girl's clothing. I loved the maxi dress in this print in the women's but it was about 6 miles too long for me. Luckily they made a girl's version which fits perfectly! Score! I think this is such a fun pattern and will be perfect for running errands in the summer!

'Boom Boom' Top//

The last girl's item I picked up was this top in this gorgeous palm leaf print. Palm prints are all the rage this season and I'm glad I snagged this! I think this would make the cutest beach/pool cover-up! It's light, breezy and the palm print screams summer!

'See Ya Later' Shift//

This might be my second favorite item I got. This shift is such a stunning bright, hot pink. It just screams me! Paired with some heels and a nice tan and you've got a killer look! I can't wait to wear it out!

So those are all the pieces I got from the infamous Lilly For Target collab. They will definitely be making appearances onto the blog! I can't wait to style them!
I'm so fortunate to have gotten so many amazing items. If you're looking for some check eBay, Instagram using the hashtag #LillyForTarget or #LillyForSale, Poshmark, Craigslist or even your local Target store for returns! Or you can head on over to Lilly Pulitzer's website and get your dose of brightly colored patterns!

Again I am not trying to brag or showoff what I got! I merely want to share what I picked up!

Did you grab some Lilly For Target pieces? If so what'd you get? Leave me a comment below sharing!

Stripes and Birks

I don't think this outfit could get any comfier. I mean I'm not wearing pants, SCORE! Dresses are one of my favorite pieces to wear in the spring and summer because they're an all in one. Just add accessories and you're good to go! And this striped dress has already gotten a lot of wear. Oh and it's under $20. DOUBLE SCORE!

Hat: Unknown// Sunglasses: Old Navy (similar here)// Dress: SheInside// Jacket: Target (similar here)// Sandals: Target//

|Thanks to Alex for taking the photos!|

So I wore this outfit on the Opening Day of baseball season because I'm proud of our Royal's! While I'm not an avid baseball fan I do like to sport baseball caps, especially when it's a hometown team who made it to the World Series! Anyways, its the perfect baseball game or running errands outfit. I loved the simplicity and comfiness of this outfit and will most definitely be sporting it again.

What do you wear to baseball games? Who do you root for? Let me know in the comments below! :)

Go Blog Social 2015: Day 2

Hello loves! Today's post is Day 2 of GBS2015! If you missed Day 1 you can read all about it here! Day 2 was another awesome day of meeting amazing ladies and being empowered to go out and kick some butt! Yeah!

9am// Networking + Coffee

The morning was the same as the day before with coffee and networking. I was starting to feel the business of the previous days and needed coffee desperately. I grabbed my cuppa and sat down to wait for Katie. Monica of 45 Fairmount, who I met at the GBS Workshop in February sat down a few seats from me. We got to chatting and it was so nice to catch up with her! Jenna of J. Lynn Designery also sat with us and I got to chat with her! I also met and got to know Diana, who's a business boss and fitness guru, Lindsey of The Curly DiariesKristen of The Style Diary and one other awesome gal whose name I forgot. I'm so sorry! :/ All four were super sweet and fabulous ladies so check out their blogs! Before we knew it it was time for the conference to begin!

10am// GBS Q+A Session

Sam of The Brunette One, Katelyn of Katalina Girl, Sarah of Sarah Scoop and Kat of Kathryn Elise Studios

Before the speakers kicked off the GBS ladies had a little Q+A time and a fun little ice breaker activity. We had 5 minutes to go out and introduce ourselves to at least 3 people. Business cards in hand it was a mad dash to meet some awesome ladies! I met Mirelle of East West RealmIliana of Trapp and Company flowers and Jolene of Jolene Dreier! All were super amazing ladies who were totally owning it! After the ice breaker the GBS ladies did a Q+A session with us. There were some really great questions asked and all the girls had great answers! I definitely learned a lot from the 15 minutes of Q+A! After that it was time for our first speaker of the day!

10:35am// Mandy Beyeler of Sugar Bee Crafts

Our kickoff speaker of the day is Mandy Beyeler, a crafty DIYer of her blog Sugar Bee Crafts! She talked about building your blogging community and how to really connect with your readers. Mandy gave a great presentation and I really learned alot from her! She was also very sweet and made everyone laugh!

After Mandy it was time for lunch! We had such a long lunch break which was sooo nice. Katie, Lindsey, Diana, the other gal whose name I forgot (I'm blushing so hardcore right now) and myself decided to go grab lunch at Constentino's downtown. It was such a nice day and the walk hit the spot just right! We grabbed our food and sat inside and ate and chatted some more. After our long lunch break we headed back! I also got to catch up with Ali of Alexandria Hope Styling and Courtney of the 5 O'Clock Fashionistas! They sat right next to me! It was so great to see both of them and chat! They're fabulous ladies so go give their blogs a check!

1pm// Enza of Enza's Bargains

Our after lunchtime speaker was Enza of Enza's Bargains. She's a blogger who, you guessed it blogs about getting those great bargains! She spoke about brand campaigning and sponsorships. Her presentation was suuuper informative about what to do when you land your campaign, which is something I most definitely want to do! She is the most adorable and funny person ever! I loved her personality and her presentation!

Part of her presentation was to take a #Selfie with someone sitting near you! This is Lauren of Midwest Femme

2:30// Lilly Jade

Next was the husband and wife duo of Lily Jade, a high quality leather bag company. Their story was so touching and I definitely shed some tears at Meaggan's stories. She's definitely a mommy inspiration! They talked about pitching to brands and had a Q+A session within their presentation, which was super cool. They have a great brand which stands for a great thing so if you're a mom, mom to be or know of one send them the link to these bags!

We had a break inbetween speakers and this is when Katie and I parted ways. She had to catch her flight back home. But not before we grabbed a quick photo!

3:45pm// Callie England of Rawxies

The last speaker of the day was Callie England, creator and founder of Rawxies, a healthy, nutritional bar. Callie is one badass chick who's making a name for herself in the world. A total #GirlBoss! She started up this company from the ground up. She talked about her business and pretty much how to be a badass Girlboss. Yup that sums up her presentation. I got to try a Rawxies bar and they were pretty good! And they're based out of KC! Woot!

After Callie's presentation that was it, the GBS Conference was officially over, sad face. But before I left I had to say hello to Caitlin of SophisitCAITed. If you remember I sat behind her at KCFW but was so nervous to say anything. Well I got over my nerves and went up and introduced myself and she could not have been any sweeter! It's the coolest thing to meet the bloggers you admire online. It's one of the best feelings ever! I said my goodbye's to my new and old friends and headed home empowered, inspired and fueled up! It was such a great experience and the GBS Team did a phenomenal job. I absolutely loved all the speakers and learned so much. And as always, it's awesome to meet and connect with ladies who are similar to you and share the same goals in mind. So empowering. If you've wanted to attend a blog conference but are unsure, GO FOR IT. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain! It's such an amazing experience! :)

I can't wait for the next GBS event and to meet more brilliant ladies!

Have you ever been to a blog conference before? How was your experience? Leave me a comment sharing or strike up a convo with me via social media, @samantha_goble!

Fringed

Coachella kicked the unofficial start of festival season. Which I am SO excited for! I thought last year's festival lineups were amazing and couldn't get any better but this years? SO MUCH BETTER! So in honor of Coachella and festival season, I thought I'd share an outfit I wore the other day that just so happened to be Coachella ready! #Fashionchella

Hat: Target (similar here)// Sunglasses: Old Navy (similar here)// Romper: Wet Seal (similar here and here)// Necklace: Forever21// Kimono: Target (similar here and here)// Booties: Off Broadway (similar here and heeled version here)// Ring: Old Navy//

|Thanks to Alex for taking the photos!|

I know this outfit is super basic but it's Coachella, how many different ways can you style a fringed kimono, floppy hat and booties? This outfit is suuuuper comfortable and very warm weather appropriate, perfect for dancing and having a good time! And the floppy hat is the final touch to add to the festival vibes. Plus, it hides second or third or fourth day hair really well.

I wore this outfit out to do shopping and I don't know maybe it's just me but I feel like people look at me more when I'm wearing A) all black, B) buckled booties and C) aviators. Anyone else have this problem? haha!

What would you wear to Coachella or for a festival? Are you going to one? Leave me a comment below! :)
